Baosteel realized the supply of 80 kilograms of high ductibility extra heavy plate for marine engineering machinery in batches, with the 100% FTQ product quality. Recently, the first batch of products have arrived at the world marine giant Huisman of China base, and all passed the 100% recheck by the customers, which would be used for the key parts of marine crane equipment. This product is one of the most difficult ones in heavy plate manufacture field with the successful mass production for domestic for the first time.
With the Netherlands headquarter, Huisman supplies the heavy engineering equipment design and manufacture service for the main global lands and marine engineering companies. Due to its specified products and leading position in the field, it is honored as the world marine giant with the marine crane equipment for the dominate products. In 2010, Huisman manufacture base in China manufactured and completed the world largest marine crane equipment with the capacity of 5000 tons, which equaled to the weight of 5000 cars or 12 Boeing 747 aircraft filled with fuel, worthy of the name “The Marine Weight-lifting Champion”.
Generally, marine operation faces the higher hazard and difficulty.
